We are teaching my uncle to play guitar hero. In return, he will teach us how to drink a beer, sweet talk a lady, and cook a pork roast all at the same time.

The main thing younger cousins have going in their favor is their unconditional admiration. They believe that I operate at a higher level (skill at videogames, ability to make trick shots in pool, having a tattoo) and they work for praise and approval.
The same principle applies to new coworkers, baby animals, and people who have just moved to a new city.

My cousin Julianne took this while playing around with my iPhone. She said I looked tired. My uncle said I looked dead. I’m not taking sides in this one.
